About Sydney Roofs Repair

What we are

Sydney Roofs Repair is a referral service for roof repairs, roof replacement and re-roofing across metropolitan Sydney. When you call or send the form, we take down the details of your property and your roof problem and arrange for an independent local roofing contractor to inspect it and give you a written quote. We do not carry out roofing work ourselves.

Why the site exists

Finding a roofer is easy; finding one who will turn up, look properly and explain what they see is harder. This site is built around a few simple ideas:

• Inspection before price. A roof cannot be quoted properly from a phone call or a satellite image.
• Repair before replace. Where a repair will do, that is what should be quoted.
• Written, itemised quotes. So you can compare like with like.
• Checkable paperwork. Licences and insurance you can verify yourself.

The guides

Much of this site is written to help you before anyone visits. The guides explain common roof problems in Sydney homes, how to decide between repair and replacement, what drives cost, which approvals and licences apply in NSW, and how to choose between materials. Prices appear on one page only, the 2026 cost guide, as planning bands rather than quotes.

How we describe the contractors

We ask the contractors we work with to hold the NSW licences and insurance the job needs. We do not publish claims about years of experience, numbers of jobs, star ratings or warranties, because those should come from the contractor in writing, where you can check them. Before work starts, ask the contractor for their licence number and check it on the NSW Government register, and ask for proof of insurance.

Where we work

Metropolitan Sydney, including the Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, North Shore, Northern Beaches, Ryde, the Hills District, Parramatta and western Sydney, Canterbury-Bankstown, St George, the Sutherland Shire, Liverpool and Fairfield.
